He framed the strikes as a deterrent to other Iran-backed groups in the region that have targeted Israel during the Gaza conflict.
The Houthi-run health ministry reported three fatalities and 87 injuries, many severe, from the airstrikes. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu echoed a stern warning in a televised speech, asserting severe consequences for aggression against Israel.
Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari specified that the strikes, executed by F-15 jets, targeted locations utilized by the Houthis for receiving Iranian weaponry, such as the drone deployed in the Tel Aviv attack.
