Global airlines are taking precautionary measures as concerns of a wider Middle East conflict mount, prompting the suspension or rerouting of flights to and from the affected regions. Among those affected are major carriers like Air Algerie, Air India, Air France-KLM, Delta Air Lines, and EasyJet.
Air France-KLM has extended its suspension of flights, while Delta Air Lines has halted its New York-Tel Aviv route until the end of August. Similarly, UK budget airline EasyJet will resume its Tel Aviv flights only in March 2025.
Other notable airlines such as Lufthansa, ITA Airways, Royal Jordanian, Ryanair, Singapore Airlines, and United Airlines have also adjusted their schedules to avoid affected airspace, highlighting the global aviation industry’s response to escalating regional tensions.
