Jordan’s king Abdullah II has vowed harsh response to Islamic States of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) after the killing of his pilot by the militant group.
King Abullah said the blood of Moaz al-Kassasbeh will not be in vain and the response of the government of Jordan and its army will be harsh.
Jordan is among the over 40 countries coalition that is being led by the US against ISIL.
King Abdullah II says his country will increase its role in the coalition against ISIL.
ISIL which is also known as ISIS or DAESH this week burned a Jordanian pilot alive after he was captured during air operations by the groups fighters close to Raqqa city in Syria.
Jordan in its first response yesterday hanged two of the ISIS prisoners including Sajida Al-Rishawi who was captured in November 2005 after a failed suicide attack in Amman.
Al-Rishawi along with her husband went to a hotel in Amman where a wedding party was organized.
Her husband was able to carry out the suicide attack which killed 38 people but her suicide vest failed to explode and she was arrested.
Four ISIS prisoners are still in jail in Jordan who the Jordanian government has pledged to execute.
