Hyderabad: Cyient has sold a 14.5% stake, or nearly 1.15 crore shares, in its design-led manufacturing solutions provider subsidiary, Cyient DLM, for 879 crore through block deals at a price of 764.4 per share.
The biggest stake in Cyient DLM via the block deal mechanism on Wednesday was picked up by Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte, which acquired over 41.37 lakh shares through two block deals. Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius Pvt Ltd also acquired over 5 lakh shares in the Cyient group company.
A clutch of mutual funds including Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, Nippon India Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund and Edelweiss Mutual Fund also acquired a stake in Cyient DLM through block deals.
